On a Slow News Day (secondary poll)
Mon Aug 18, 2008 at 12:22:19 PM PDT

A whole lotta dancing

I realize that this doesn't meet the standard for posting a "substantive" diary but I think the inherent message is just too good not to spread all around.

Tue Jun 03, 2008 at 05:58:36 PM PDT
Today it's been reported that Hillary is open to being Obama's VP. Fortunately, it won't happen.
Update: This concession victory speech of hers tonight should just about assure that she's not on the ticket.

Today is my Birthday! YOU can help me to make it count!
Mon Apr 28, 2008 at 02:15:02 AM PDT
Update: It's 313AM Pacific Time and I'm still up from last night so I'm going to bed for now. I hope that anyone who can donate will - no matter how small the amount. Every bit helps!
Thanks everyone :)
Today is my birthday.
I'm now 45 years old. Frankly I've gotten past the point of looking forward to birthdays. On the other hand, continuing to have birthdays certainly beats the alternative ;)
In any event, I'm not interested in receiving any presents or what have you.
What I really want for my birthday today is the good feeling gained from doing something that will make a positive difference in people's lives and (hopefully) inspiring others to join in and do the same.

My birthday is Monday.
What I'd like for my birthday is just the good feeling of helping to make a difference by doing something good and hopefully inspiring others to do the same.

OK. There are other polls asking who won the debate, but did any of the candidates win over anyone?

Obama, Powell and a Nevadan's dilemma
Tue Jan 08, 2008 at 06:41:23 AM PDT
It's the morning of the New Hampshire primary and it appears that Barack Obama will be the clear winner. The time is fast approaching for me to make up my mind about who I'll support in the upcoming Nevada caucuses.

Fri Nov 23, 2007 at 12:23:44 PM PDT
When Wendell Willkie ran as a Republican against FDR, he went out of his way to say that he was a Liberal and that he supported Liberal causes.

Kucinich supporters... who is your second choice candidate?
Wed Sep 12, 2007 at 05:16:06 PM PDT
As someone who has been struggling to choose between Dennis Kucinich and John Edwards, I'd like to know who Kucinich supporters would back if Kucinich were to drop out of the race.
